Our Pediatricians
Valerie Sia, MD FAAP
Dr. Sia attended the University of the Phillippines where she received her medical degree. She completed her pediatric residency training at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in New York. She has been with Silverton Pediatrics since 2010. She is a Board Certified pediatrician and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as the New Jersey Chapter of the AAP.
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and three children. They reside in Toms River.
Mariane Ibrahim, MD FAAP
Dr. Ibrahim, a native of New Jersey, attended medical school at UMDNJ/New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ, and completed her Pediatric Residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in Long Island NY. She has been with Silverton Pediatrics since 2019, and is a Board Certified pediatrician as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her philosophy regarding patient care is to treat patients the way she would want herself and her own family to be treated.
Dr. Ibrahim has a special interest in travel medicine, and enjoys cooking, traveling the world and spending time with her family.
Nicole Maslanek, APN-C
Nicole Maslanek, APN-C, graduated from James Madison University with her first bachelors in Health Sciences in 2009 and then attended Rutgers University for an accelerated Bachelors of Nursing Program. She then continued at Rutgers to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2015. She is also a Lactation Consultant and is very passionate about helping moms successfully breastfeed. She enjoys working with families on obesity management and achieving asthma control.
In her spare time, Nicole enjoys working out and going on vacation with her husband and daughter.
Nellie Youmans, Office Manager
Nellie graduated from Union Technical Institute with a Medical Assistant Certification. She has over 20 years of management experience in a medical office setting. Her expertise with patient satisfaction and customer service is a qualification she exhibits with every patient she encounters. She is also an EMT with the Wanamassa First Aid squad.
Nellie is married, has three children and four grandchildren, and enjoys spending time with her family in her spare time.
