Our Pediatricians
Rumana Qazi, MD FAAP
Dr. Qazi graduated from Ayub Medical College in Pakistan, and then completed her residency training at Overlook Hospital and Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey. She has been with Silverton Pediatrics since 1998, and is Managing Member of the Practice. She is a Board Certified pediatrician and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as the New Jersey Chapter of the AAP, and is a member of the New Jersey Medical Society.
Dr. Qazi lives in Toms River with her husband, Joe, and their two children. When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys travelling with her family and has an avid green thumb.
Shirley Ulep, MD FAAP
Dr. Ulep graduated medical school from the St. Louis University in the Philippines. She completed her internship and residency training at Overlook Hospital and Morristown Hospital in New Jersey. She has been with Silverton Pediatrics since 2001, and is a Member of the Practice. She is a Board Certified pediatrician and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as the New Jersey Chapter of the AAP, and is a member of the New Jersey Medical Society.
She lives in Forked River with her husband Simeon and their six children. When she is not working, she loves to be at home and just be a mom.
Valerie Sia, MD FAAP
Dr. Sia attended the University of the Phillippines where she received her medical degree. She completed her pediatric residency training at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in New York. She has been with Silverton Pediatrics since 2010. She is a Board Certified pediatrician and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as the New Jersey Chapter of the AAP.
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and three children. They reside in Toms River.
